Check-in starts at 5 pm.
The check-in table will be located on the porch of the Dance Hall. Signs at the entrance to the park will direct you to the 4H Camp section portion of the park and and to the check-in station.

At check-in you will
- receive information about the weekend
- be able to choose a cabin [first-come-first-served] or find a suitable camping area create a custom DYI name tag.
As an option, bring a button from your favorite dance weekend. It is ok to use that button.
what to bring
- Warm bedding [cabins are unheated]
- Pillow
- Towel, wash cloth, soap, shampoo
- Shower shoes or flip flops Bathhouse floors tend to accumulate water.
- Flash light [Evenings will be dark. Not much outdoor lighting]
- Warm clothing for cool evenings
- Cool clothing for warm days.
- Sturdy shoes [rough ground, a rough stone stairway between dance hall and kitchen]
- A dance snack contribution.
- A potluck dinner contribution if you wish to join the Saturday evening potluck dinner. Refrigeration and heating facilities are available in the dining hall at the camp.

silent auction
- Bring one or more items for the Silent Auction on Saturday.
- Bring items that are yard sale material or beyond.
- The Silent Auction helps us pay for this year's program. And it will be seed money for next year.
- Don't forget to bring "mad money" for those items you just have to have.
- Have fun outbidding your friends.
meals
- Potluck dinner Saturday evening - 6 to 7 pm.
- Other meals are on your own. Kitchen facilities and refrigeration are available in the dining hall.

cabins
Cabins are primitive camp buildings. They are not heated. Beds are 4H-style bunk beds. They have mattresses only.
We will not assign cabin spaces. First-come-first-served in cabins.
Cabin designations are:
Cabin 1: Coed cabin.
Cabin 2: Whirl staff cabin only
Cabin 5: Upper floor: women’s cabin. This level has its own entrance.
Cabin 5: Lower: men’s cabin. This level has its own entrance.
Cabin 6: Coed cabin. The cabin has two floors. The single entrance is on the ground floor.
Each cabin has a sign with its number. The Camp Map [available in the INFO PACK on our web site or at the check-in table] shows location of each cabin.
The Fayette County 4H Camp rules prohibit moving of beds and removing mattresses from beds. Please do not move beds / mattresses. We will forfeit our deposit if they are moved.

alcohol
Alcohol is not permitted in the 4H Camp area.
In the past, park personnel found beer bottles in our cabins and in the trash. Such findings will cause us to forfeit our deposit and perhaps cause us to be banned from the camp in the future. Please help us. Do not violate this rule.

pets
Facility rules state that pets are not permitted in the either the park area or the camp area. Please do not bring your pet to the Fall Fling.
